Emergency crews arrived to a devastating scene, with mangled wreckage scattered across the roadway and distraught families rushing to the area in search of their children. Authorities have launched a full investigation into the crash to determine the exact cause and whether any safety regulations were breached. Early findings suggest reckless driving may have played a role, but officials say no conclusions will be drawn until forensic and mechanical assessments are complete.
The tragedy has reignited calls for stricter oversight of scholar transport operators, many of whom operate privately with limited regulation.
