Veteran rapper Stogie T has finally succeeded in uniting two of South Africa’s biggest hip-hop names Nasty C and A-Reece bringing them together on the same record for the first time. The song, titled Four Horsemen, also features Maggz and was dropped as part of Stogie T’s long-awaited release.
What makes this collaboration especially historic is that neither Nasty C nor A-Reece knew the other would appear on the track when they laid down their parts. According to Stogie T, he chose not to inform them both at the outset.
In May 2025, Nasty C revealed in an interview that he had recorded a hook for what he thought was a solo track only to later learn that A-Reece and Maggz had also contributed. He reached out to A-Reece to check the status of their relationship before proceeding. A-Reece responded positively, assuring him they were “good” and that there was no bad blood.
Over the years, tension between Nasty C and A-Reece had been largely fueled by fan speculation and miscommunication not direct beef. Nasty C has described the rivalry more as “friendly competition,” and clarified that misunderstandings, rather than genuine animosity, blew the situation out of proportion.
Now, “Four Horsemen” has not only quieted rumours of conflict, but has also sparked widespread excitement among fans and peers. Many consider it a milestone moment for South African hip-hop proof that collaboration and respect can win over division.
